WooCommerce has no option for changing the product ownership. If you create a product by your user ID, you can’t change the author to others. This plugin suits for you if you want to change WooCommerce author ownership.

Instalación

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/plugin-name directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress
  3. Now check "Product" tab and click any Product "Quick Edit" button and change the Author.

Do I need to do anything after Installation

No, just install and activate. Enjoy.

Not 5 stars because took me some time to find out, that only Administrators appear in the drop-down menu of the product-Author. Without this extra information not so easy as the plugin says. Once a new Administrator is used as author of a product, you can change the user to Editor (for security better) and the new user will still appear in the product-Author drop-down list.

Bro – thank you so much fahim for making this plugin, it does what it says it’ll do. Great! As a convenience, it would be cool to add the option to change the author in the page itself as opposed to editing in the "quick settings" only, but that’s me being spoiled. I greatly appreciate you creating this plugin!

This plugin delivers! I’m expanding my art site to other users and needed a way to give them authorship so the site can show their biographies, but products don’t allow you to assign authorship. Fixed it! Thank you!
